Lancaster Attractions

Lancaster’s most visible landmark is the Ashton Memorial, an imposing folly in Williamson Park on the outskirts of the city. It’s most famous attraction however, is its castle, scene of the Pendle Witches trial and one of the best preserved Norman fortresses in the country.

Outside of Lancaster, the Lune Valley offers some of the most breathtaking (and overlooked) scenery in North West England.
