Lancaster Bars & Pubs

For the most part Lancaster has resisted the influx of fun pubs and similar establishments that, for many, have blighted some of the other towns and cities in North West England. If you like real ale, live music, and historic pubs, Lancaster could be your drinking heaven.

Several pubs in the city and surrounding areas are found on the banks of the Lancaster Canal. Canal cruises run from both the Water Witch in Lancaster and the Hest Bank Hotel in Hest Bank.
