Lancaster House Hotel

The 4-star Lancaster House Hotel is located a couple of miles south of its namesake city, just a couple of minutes from the M6 motorway.

The Foodworks restaurant offers a menu that emphasises fresh, local produce while Sandeman's Bar serves a wide range of light meals and snacks.

Leisure facilities at the hotel include the impressive Sandpiper Club. Recently renovated, this features an outdoor hot spa, 50 ft swimming pool, splash pool for kids, sauna, steam room and beauty salon.

I stayed here on the way to see family in Scotland. It was very expensive if you have family and not very child friendly. Staff were nice, though I found reception staff unhelpful.

Friendly and helpful staff who dealt with one of our little problems quickly and efficiently and to our complete satisfaction. Our room was clean, comfortable and well decorated. Found the restaurant a little on the expensive side though.

Very easy to get to and great leisure facilities. We treated ourselves to one of the suites which was clean, spacious and well appointed. Prompt service and friendly and helpful staff although we found the food a little disappointing for the price paid.
