With just 18 rooms, the family-run Eleanor Rigby Hotel is a small property compared to other Liverpool city centre hotels. It’s situated on Stanley Street, just yards from the statue of the lonely lady featured in the famous Beatles’ song.

It’s a great hotel for shopping as the MetQuarter and Cavern Walks Shopping Centre are literally on the doorstep. Liverpool 1 is also within easy walking distance.

I enjoyed my stay here, but I'll try to be objective. You are right in the middle of everything, eating, drinking and shopping wise, and the place is very secure. The staff were quite friendly as well but the room could've been a bit bigger and there is no lift if you are old or disabled. Good if you are young and out on the town.

Good and bad points about this place. You can't beat the location and it is very clean and comfortable and very good value, but the room was quite small and I could hear a bit of noise from the street. All in all though, not bad.
