Hope Street Hotel

Liverpool’s Hope Street Hotel opened in 2004 and wasted no time in getting a couple of prestigious awards into its trophy cabinet. First it was named one of the ‘World’s 50 Coolest Hotels’ by Conde Nast Traveller. This was shortly followed by the accolade of Newcomer of the Year by the Good Hotel Guide.

Each of the 48 rooms in this boutique hotel is individually styled and comes with oak floor with under-floor heating, wall-mounted LCD widescreen TVs, DVD and CD players, broadband internet and en-suite bathrooms.

The London Carriage Works specialises in modern international cuisine while the Residents’ Lounge is one of the city’s most popular watering holes.

I don't think anybody would be disappointed staying here as it is a quality hotel. The room was superb, the staff were very well trained, and the food was delicious, especially the breakfast. All the rooms are different apparently so I can't wait to try a new one next time.

This is quite a classy place, but not prohibitively expensive. You have every mod con imaginable at your disposal and the staff are exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful. You've also got numerous places to eat and drink nearby.

Classy place to stay as the rooms are individually styled, although I only saw one. Great room service and well presented, polite, and informative staff. I would definitely stay again.

Superb location for going to the theatre or dining out. Has all modern conveniences and a delicious buffet breakfast including vegetarian if you like.

The hotel is very minimalist, which may not appeal to some, but suits my taste. The restaurant is very good.
