Liverpool Cathedral

The neo-gothic Liverpool Cathedral is the largest Anglican cathedral in world and is the seat of the Bishop of Liverpool. Designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott (who also gave us the red telephone box), the cathedral also boasts the second-largest pipe organ in the UK and the bells with the highest and heaviest peels in the world.

Entrance to the cathedral is free, but small voluntary donations are appreciated.
