Parr Street Hotel

The Parr Street Studios in Liverpool rank amongst the best in the world. Artists who have recorded here include 808 State, Atomic Kitten, Badly Drawn Boy, Coldplay, The Farm, Inspiral Carpets, Lightning Seeds, New Order and Embrace.

In 2007 the rooms that were previously only available to visiting artists were refurbished and are now open to the public.

The hotel offers 12 rooms, all of which are en-suite and include a custom sleigh-style bed with memory mattress, iron and ironing board, fridge with mini-bar, and LCD TV.

Guests enjoy membership of the 3345 bar which is situated in the same building. Other facilities available include wireless internet access, laundry and room service.

I haven't stayed there but have frequented the bar very often, really good starting off or finishing place for a drink in a great atmosphere.

Good central location, but can be a bit tricky to find. Don't be put off by the exterior; inside the rooms are spacious, and tastefully decorated and there was a real buzz in the bar from the varied clientele.

Great place to stay and at a very reasonable price. Tons of character as it's part of the famous recording studios. The room was very stylish and had everything we needed including wireless internet access.
