Staybridge Suites - Liverpool

The Staybridge Suites in Liverpool opened in June 2008 and was the first hotel operating under InterContinental’s Staybridge brand to open in the UK.

The hotel offers 132 studios and one-bedroom suites, providing a ‘home-from-home’ for longer-term visitors.

All accommodations feature a fully equipped kitchen with cutlery and utensils, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave/convection oven, dishwasher, king-size bed, air conditioning, entertainment centre, 2 telephones, and iron and ironing board. The one-bedroom suites also have a television in the bedroom.

Hotel facilities include a reception/lounge, exercise room, laundry, and deli shop. Complimentary wireless internet access is provided throughout the hotel.

The Staybridge Suites is located at Kings Dock, next to the Liverpool Echo Arena. Liverpool city centre and many of bars, restaurants and attractions (Albert Dock etc.) are within easy walking distance of the hotel.

I wish there were more places like this available, truly a home from home with every conceivable modern convenience at your fingertips including your own kitchen. The bed was also extremely comfortable and you couldn't beat the location. The room even had a lovely view. Standard hotels can't hold a candle to this.

I read some reviews before staying here and it seemed almost too good to be true. 94 per cent would stay again. After staying myself my only question now is why wouldn't 100 per cent stay again. It was brilliant in every way form start to finish and could not be improved upon in my eyes. Some people must be incredibly difficult to please.
