Wayfarers Arcade is a beautiful, glass-roofed Grade II listed shopping arcade on Southport’s Lord Street. It opened for business in 1898 and houses more than 30 shops on 2 floors.
Shops include Broadbents & Boothroyds (department store), Multiyork (furniture and home furnishings), Kernaghan Books (antique books), the Hair Lounge (unisex hairdressers), Bags of Style (handbags and luggage), Bojangles (jewellery), Coco Boutique (ladies designer wear), Covet and Crave (accessories), De Lovely (manicures and pedicures), Glitz Ritz & Tiaras (wedding shop), Karmy’s (jewellers), Lapel Menswear (designer clothes), Moss (menswear), Mother and Childe (children’s clothes), Nigel (jewellery), Rohan, Rohde Shoes, and Sweet Memories (traditional sweets).
The arcade also boasts two cafes; Pudding and Pie and Saveurs de France. It also offers free wireless internet access, a lift, and baby changing facilities.
Wayfarers Arcade is open 7 days a week. Opening times are Monday to Saturday 9 am to 5.30 pm and Sunday 10 am to 5 pm.
The arcade is situated on Lord Street, opposite the town hall and just a short walk from the train station.
