Manchester Apartments
The devastation left by the IRA bomb in 1996, and the hosting of the Commonwealth Games in 2002, acted as catalysts for the massive regeneration that Manchester city centre has seen in recent years. A significant part of this regeneration saw many buildings replaced or converted to apartment buildings. Many of these apartments are have been acquired by investors for short or long-term rents and offer a great alternative to hotel accommodation. In addition to greater privacy, many apartments come with a parking space; a benefit not often offered by city centre hotels.
