Manchester Apollo
The Manchester Apollo was originally built as a cinema, but since the 1970s has served as one of the city’s major concert venues. With a capacity of 3,500 it is smaller than the MEN Arena, but offers a more intimate atmosphere.
Facilities include several bars, disabled areas and toilets, and a first aid room.
It’s situated on Stockport Road in Ardwick, just south of the city centre. Buses leave from Piccadilly train station. There are two supervised car parks at the Apollo.
Tickets (and a full events listing) can be obtained from Seetickets or Ticketmaster. Both are reliable suppliers.
For concertgoers coming by car and using satellite navigation, the postcode to use for the Manchester Apollo is M12 6AP.
