The Castlefield Hotel

Situated opposite Manchester’s Museum of Science and Industry, the Castlefield Hotel is close to the city’s shops and bars, but far enough away for a bit of peace and quiet at night.

The Castlefield area is one of Manchester's best kept secrets. Loads of places to eat, drink, and entertain yourself in a very relaxing location. The room was comfortable and well appointed and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Lovely canal nearby as well. High on my list of repeat visits.

If you don't know this area, check it out it's great. You can easily walk to the centre of Manchester, The Museum of Science and Industry is on your doorstep, as is the youth hostel, and there are numerous places to eat and drink. The hotel was also excellent in all departments.

Inexpensive for such a popular area of Manchester. Our room had everything we required and the staff were friendly and helpful. Some nice houseboats a short walk from the hotel which you don't often see in a city.

Handy location with great leisure facilities and plenty of entertainment. Ideal for the Museum of Science and Industry. Good value for money and staff who are prepared to go that extra mile.
