Eden Bar & Restaurant

Despite its Brazil Street address, the Eden Bar and Restaurant is accessed by a footbridge from Manchester’s famous Canal Street. Housed in a Grade II listed building it functions as a restaurant in the day and in the evening until 10 pm, and a bar later at night.

During the daytime it offers a good selection of sandwiches, wraps, jacket potatoes and pizzas. In the evening the a la carte menu features modern European dishes, including numerous vegetarian options.

The bar serves numerous draft beers including Hoegaarden, Starapromen, and Guinness, and also boasts a good selection of whiskies.

In the summer months a floating barge on the adjacent Rochdale Canal provides a pleasant space to observe the comings and goings on Canal Street. In the winter it provides welcome shelter for smokers.

On Fridays and Saturdays from around 11 pm DJ’s play cheesy pop and disco music.
