In between there’s a range of boutique hotels, including the Malmaison and the Great John Street, and established favourites such as the Midland. Most accommodation is located in the city centre, although there is a good selection at the airport and Salford Quays. During the football season, visitors are advised at book well ahead, as rooms can be difficult to find if Manchester United are playing at home.
