City Centre
There are just a handful of hotels in Manchester city centre with car parks. These include the Marriott Victoria and Albert, Lowry, Campanile, and Stay Inn. Some charge, others don’t.
During weekday business hours most visitors staying in city centre accommodation will have to park their vehicles in a private car park. Fees are usually high and can add significant costs to a long trip.
Visitors arriving in the evening and departing early morning should, with a little perseverance, be able to find free street parking (charges only apply Monday to Saturday 8 am to 6 pm – no charges Sunday and bank holidays).
Suburbs
Most hotels in the areas surrounding Manchester offer free car parking. Many are on good bus routes or close to Metrolink stations, giving quick and easy access to the city centre. In addition to savings made on car park fees, it should be noted that rates at these hotels are significantly cheaper than their city centre equivalents.
Airport
Most hotels at and around Manchester Airport have car parks. Hotels at or very close to the airport usually charge, while those a little further away offer free parking (generally only while resident).
