The Midland Hotel

Manchester’s Midland Hotel was originally built by the Midland Railway Company to serve its customers using the nearby Central Station (now G-MEX). Today it is one of the city’s most famous landmarks and one of its most glamorous hotels. Guests staying here will follow the footsteps of high-profile names such as Winston Churchill, Margaret Thatcher, Pavarotti, and Laurel and Hardy.

The hotel boasts over 300 rooms and suites, 2 restaurants, and a health club with swimming pool, gym and squash court.

The Midland Hotel is situated in Manchester’s Conference Quarter.

Nice restaurant here, but very expensive in my opinion.

The room was nice and the staff friendly. The best thing was the location (right in the centre) and the lobby area and bar (lots of character).
