Radisson Edwardian Manchester
The Radisson Edwardian is one of just a handful of five-star hotels in central Manchester.
The hotel was built on the site of the Free Trade Hall, preserving its listed Victorian frontage. This was one of Manchester’s most famous buildings. It was here that Bob Dylan was branded a ‘Judas’ after going electric. In 1976 the Sex Pistols performed their first ever concert outside London before an audience numbering less than 50 but including Morrissey, Ian Curtis (Joy Division) and Mick Hucknall.
All 263 rooms and suites come with king-sized beds, flat-screen televisions and broadband wireless internet access as standard.
Bathrooms are clad in slate and are divided into separate wet and dry areas. The wet area includes a walk-in power shower, bath and toilet, while the dry are has a free standing wash bowl, illuminated mirrored dressing area and walk-in wardrobe.
The Alto Terrace serves breakfast only, whilst Opus One is open for lunch and dinner, and offers contemporary British cuisine in a sophisticated setting.
The Sienna Spa includes a gym, swimming pool, sauna, steam room and treatment rooms.
The Radisson Edwardian is located in Manchester's Conference Quarter.
