The Triangle
The Triangle is a wonderful resurrection of the former Corn & Produce Exchange building, severely damaged by an IRA bomb in 1996. The exterior of the building has been preserved while the interior has been transformed into a modern shopping centre.
Shops and businesses here include Aspecto (independent fashion store), Bravissimo (bras for big-breasted women), East (womenswear), Eduardo Pelle (Italian leather handbags and accessories), Green + Benz (contemporary platinum jewellery), Jigsaw, Up and Running (specialist running retailer), Eyes-n-Brows (eyebrow and eyelash enhancement), Skin Health Spa (laser skincare treatments etc.), With Dilan (hair salon), and Silky Feet (fish pedicures).
There are also a number of restaurants and bars such as Caffe Nero, Pizza Express, Tampopo, and the Zinc Bar & Grill.
The Triangle Shopping Centre is open 7 days a week. Opening times are Monday to Wednesday and Friday 10 am to 6 pm, Thursday 10 am to 8 pm, Saturday 9 am to 6 pm, and Sunday 11 am to 5 pm.
The shopping centre is situated on Exchange Square in Manchester city centre, close to the Printworks, National Football Museum, Selfridges, and Manchester Arndale.
The nearest Metrolink stations are Victoria and Shudehill. Victoria train station is just a few hundred yards away. Visitors arriving at Piccadilly train station can catch the Metrolink to Victoria or Shudehill.
The Triangle does not have its own car park. The nearest car parking is at the NCP multi-storey car parks at Manchester Transport Interchange –, High Street – Arndale and Market Place on Blackfriars Street. For details of parking charges go to the NCP website and search for car parks using the postcode for the Triangle Shopping Centre M4 3TR.
