Velvet Hotel

The Velvet Restaurant and Bar is one of the longest-established and most popular venues in Manchester’s Gay Village. April 2009 will see the addition of the Velvet Hotel.

This 4-star boutique hotel will offer just 19 rooms. Standard features will include a satellite TV, iPod docking station, mini bar, tea/coffee making facilities, safe, free wireless internet access, work desk, en-suite bathroom, and air conditioning. Balcony rooms overlooking Canal Street and Penthouse Suites are also available.

Breakfast is included in the daily rate and is served in the Velvet Restaurant.

The Velvet Hotel is situated on Canal Street, offering easy access to the wealth of bars, restaurants and nightclubs here. Piccadilly train station is just a short walk from the hotel.
