Morecambe Attractions & Activities

One of the area’s greatest assets is Morecambe Bay, the UK’s largest estuary and inspiration for the Tern Project, the award-winning restoration of the town’s Promenade.

The town centre boasts numerous attractions including a cinema and bowling alley. To its east Happy Mount Park offers a wealth of attractions that will appeal to families and children. Just south of Morecambe is Heysham, one of the UK’s prettiest villages and home to the ancient ruins of St Patrick’s Chapel.

More information and leaflets for these attractions can be obtained from the Morecambe Tourist Information Centre.
