Central Drive Retail Park
Morecambe’s Frontierland theme park closed in 1999 and has since been replaced by the Central Drive Retail Park.
Stores here include a large Morrisons supermarket, Homebase DIY store, and Next. There’s also the DW Sports Fitness Club and a Frankie and Benny’s Italian restaurant.
Opening times vary by store. Morrisons is open Monday to Saturday 8 am to 9 pm, and Sunday 10 am to 4 pm. Next is open Monday to Friday 9 am to 7.30 pm, Saturday 9 am to 7 pm, and Sunday 10.30 am to 4.30 pm.
The retail park is situated on Central Drive, close to the Promenade and the Midland Hotel. Places within easy walking distance include the Apollo Cinema, Morecambe Superbowl, and the Festival Market.
