Morecambe Hotels

In 2003 developers Urban Splash purchased Morecambe’s Midland Hotel, an iconic art deco property that had fallen into disrepair. With the help of over £7 million of funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund, English Heritage and the Northwest Regional Development Agency, this innovative company is hoping to help transform the town’s tourism industry with good architecture and design. The hotel is scheduled to open in May 2008.
