British Musical Fireworks Championships
October 2nd, 2007The skies of Southport will be lit up to the sound of music when the British Musical Fireworks Championships return to the resort this weekend. Each evening, from October 5 to October 7, there will be displays by two of the UK’s top professional firework companies at the Marine Lake. The programme starts at 7.30 pm each evening; with gates opening at 7 pm. Tickets are £5 on the door with under 5’s admitted free.

i went to see the show on friday night it was amazing,i’ve never before seen so many spectacular fireworks and the music made it extra special,my two children aged 4 and 9 also loved it we took our blanket and hot choc in the flask it was well worth the 5 pound .the first competitor was our fave x

Hi Sarah i didnt see Fridays however saturdays was OK but The final dislay on Sunday was amazing, i work in the firework industry and have done some good displays myself but that was out of this world. X
