Lowry In Liverpool
September 7th, 2006A rarely seen painting of the Liver Building by LS Lowry is to go on display at Tate Liverpool. The painting, the Liver Building 1962, will be the centrepiece of a special Lowry in Liverpool exhibition and has only been seen once before in public.
The exhibition is unusual because most of Lowry’s paintings were of Manchester and Salford. It runs from October 14 2006 to April 9 2007. Admission is free.
