Manchester United named as world’s richest club

Forbes have named Manchester United the world’s richest club. With assets of £740m they easily beat second-placed Real Madrid (£528m) and third-placed Arsenal (£466m). In terms of revenues, they rank 4th with their annual income of £158m bettered by Real Madrid (£191m), Barcelona (£169m) and Juventus (£164m).
