Morecambe cycling ban lifted
April 9th, 2007Ancient byelaws banning cycling on Morecambe’s Promenade will be lifted on April 8. In 2005 Morecambe was designated a Cycling Demonstration town by the Department of Transport and received £1.5m of funding to encourage people to cycle.
