New ride at Camelot theme park
June 6th, 2007Chorley’s Camelot theme park will unveil their new rollercoaster on June 23. The £3 million Knightmare ride will subject riders to a g-force of 5, more than any other ride in the UK. The ride measures over 1½ miles, reaching a height of 87 feet and speeds of over 40 miles per hour.

I think that Camelot has already got 4 good rides in Whirlwind, Excalibur 2, The Gauntlet and The Rack. I think that this 5th ride will attract so much more people. I am a daredevil with rides. I can’t wait to see this new coaster. I have been to Camelot several times and I have got slightly bored with some of the older rides such as The Gauntlet. I think that this new addition to the theme park will be fantastic - a sort of revival to a theme park often overshadowed by other theme parks.

I that camelot is a great place for younger people as well as older people. I have been to camelot loads of time and started to get bored of the 4 main rides such as the rack, gauntlet, whirlwind and Excalibur 2.I cant wait to see it i have been looking on the website to see the pictures of it but can’t find any i am going to be going there in 3 weeks and cant wait to ride the ‘NIGHTMARE’.I also think that more people will start to come to the camelot just to ride the ‘NIGHTMARE’ because even though camelot is a well known place but not as popular than more of the bigger theme parks such as alton towers and Blackpool pleasure beach. I think if camelot keep building more rides then it might just be as popular as the bigger theme parks lets hope so!

We went on Knightmare at Camelot on Saturday as we had heard about the new ride and thought it sounded like a good day out.
I have to say it did not disappoint, 2 minutes long, going speeds of over 40mph and and covering over half a mile. It was thrilling, exciting, fun!
I would really recommend it - Brilliant.

hi tomorrow no lies but me and my 2 mates are going to be the first people to go on the rides seen as we are v.i.p’s cant wait because after we have gone on this ride we are going on the radio to tell people how good or bad the ride is if you dont believe me tune in to cheshire radio station and see if you believe me then

hi i wonder what the ride is like i can’t wait to try it out i went with my last year of primary school but that was last year so i don’t know what the ride is going to be like i really want to go this year to try the new rides out but i think i am getting to go to blackpool in the summer.
will my little brother harrison and my other 2 brothers luke and curtis but lets see it might be a miserable summer like it was last year it wouldn’t stop raining you can’t say the weather is going to be nice can you it is up to the sky to change weather or keep it nice, but it could snow aswell.

OMG!!!! The Knightmare is soooooooo good!!
It is deffo on my list of favourite rides at camelot here it is:
1. Whirlwind
2. Knightmare
3.Excalibur 2
These are the best rides EVER if / wen u go CAmelot you MUST go on them

Hi i went on knightmare yesturday it’s brilliant and i really like camelot as a theme park because it’s not too busy because it’s not as big as the others so the queues aren’t to lonmg and it’s great value for the whole family i waish they could have put the gauntlet somewhere else when knightmare came though because that was a great ride but instead they took it down anyway KNIGHTMARE IS GREAT
