Rail Changes on the Horizon

Network Rail is a considering a number of options to cope with an anticipated 13% rise in passengers using the North West’s trains over the next 10 years. These include relocating Salford Crescent station, an additional train every hour between Manchester and Blackpool, more platforms at Manchester Piccadilly and making better use Manchester Victoria.
