The closure of Vue cinemas at Park 66, Pilsworth Bury is terrible news for the local area, unless the site is bulldozed and left as fields, as it was prior to the cinema being built.

  2. don crombie says:

Where it is now it easy to get to, free to park and away from places serving alcohol. Leave it where it is.

  3. James Dutton says:

This is terrible you cannot get rid of something so good and where there is lots of places to eat and drink nearby.

  4. Jay says:

it is now being built in bury which is also very easy to get to for everyone will shopping centre and bowling etc built with it like a mini trafford centre.

  5. D says:

Some of us don’t want another Trafford Centre!!!

  6. andy says:

To mr Dutton.how is it terrible? dont you think there will be even more places to eat and drink?. To D. Some of us do want another trafford centre, its always full,so it must be popular. To Don crombie. There is going to be a cinema in Bury centre,so if you did leave it where it was,it would shut down.Furthermore, they serve alcohol next to it now! Also, unless you have a car or can afford taxis,it is very difficult to get to,espescially at night.Bury used to have two cinemas in its centre, its going to be great to have one back

I am glad they’re moving it to the centre – Pilsworth is NOT easy to get to at all if you don’t drive. The bus service is rubbish to there! I am not really a fan of the massive shopping centre idea, but the cinema is one good thing about it. It’s easier for me to get to the Odeon at the printworks on the tram than it is to get to Pilsworth, which ends up costing me twice as much! Also I think where they’re building the rock triangle is not so near to all the pubs and alcohol places. Too much of Bury’s nightlife has centred around drinking for too long! I’m so glad we will have a cinema (and bowling) within convenient public transport routes.

leave it at pilsworth easy access free parking plenty places to eat & drink also asda store nearby

  9. sam says:

exactly who wants to pay for parkin wen goin to cinema. The film costs u enough these days. Think its free after 6 but thats still no good. U dont pay at trafford. Or pilsworth and that one was just off the motorway a quick devour on me way back to manchester was convenient.

Leave it were it is. Now we are gonna be stuck with a cinema full of kids without parental supervision as its easy to get to, and how much is parking gonna be??? They say its like a mini trafford centre, does that mean the parking is free then????? I think not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
