Penrith Hotels

Penrith doesn’t offer a huge choice of hotel accommodation. Many tourists prefer to stay in the Lake District, only a couple of miles away, and with agriculture being the main pillar of its economy, the town doesn’t attract many business visitors.

The oldest and best known hotel in Penrith town centre is the George Hotel. The Westmorland Hotel, just north of Tebay, is a popular stop for those travelling up the M6 motorway.
