Built in 1738 the Nent Hall Country House Hotel enjoys a peaceful location 2 miles east of Alston and within the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

What a lovely place to enjoy a romantic break as we did. The room was wonderful and contained everything you could possibly want and an amazing four-poster bed. The food was excellent when we ate there and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

We enjoyed a very nice stay here and the price of the room was very competitive for the area. We had dinner here a couple of times and the food was delicious.

Got a room with a four poster which was nice. Ate at the hotel a number of times and all the meals were excellent. There's also a nice garden area to sit outside in fine weather. Very enjoyable stay overall.

Nice place, just needs a few more people working here.

Lovely views of the surrounding countryside and nicely decorated, clean, comfortable rooms. The only trouble when I was there was that they seemed to be very short of staff. A very relaxing and enjoyable stay overall though.
