Penrith Tourist Information Centre
The Penrith Tourist Information Centre is housed, along with the Penrith and Eden Museum, in the old Robinson’s School on Middlegate, a building dating back to the late 17th century. It’s a great place for visitors to get up to date Penrith travel and tourist info and advice.
It sells books and souvenirs, Ordnance Survey maps, RADAR toilet keys, tickets for local events, bus and train timetables, National Express coach tickets, and tickets for the Ullswater Steamers, Penrith Playhouse, and Theatre by the Lake in Keswick
Brochures for local attractions and hotels, and parking discs are also available.
