Lovely grounds and quite good value for us as we had booked a package. The room was spacious and had everything we needed and there were plenty of places to eat and drink nearby as well as good health and fitness facilities. The food was a bit hit and miss though.

The hotel was ok for what we paid for it, but it is definitely past its best in parts and would not suffer from a lick of paint. That said, the grounds were nice and we really enjoyed Camelot which is part of the same site. Parking wasn't a problem either.

Make sure you book a room in the hotel and not in the 'village'. We've stayed in both and the hotel is definately better. Surroundings are nice and staff helpful.
