Ribble Steam Railway and Museum
Ribble Steam Railway operates heritage steam train rides at Preston Docklands. In addition to the railway, there is also a museum and active workshop on site where visitors can look a large collection of ex-industrial steam and diesel locomotives. The museum reflects the North West’s industrial heritage as most of the locomotives were built or worked within a 50 mile radius of Preston.
The museum and railway is open weekends between April and September, with special events throughout the year.
