Samlesbury Hall

Built in 1325, this timbered manor house attracts thousands of visitors each year, many of whom come to purchase or peruse the antiques on display here. The house is reputedly haunted by the ghost of Lady Dorothy Southworth.

Set in extensive grounds, Samlesbury Hall is also home to the Billiard Room Restaurant and Samlesbury Golf Centre & Teaching Academy.

I was married at Samlesbury Hall on 29th December 2009. It was a wonderful day with Lindsay, Angela and their lovely friendly staff making the whole event run perfectly . The venue is amazing and our guests loved the warm relaxed atmosphere. Food is great, we sampled the restaurant before our wedding and on the day the food was just as good for our 70 guests. Can't recommend it highly enough. Thank you. Yvonne & Gavin Cox

I was married at the hall on December 12th 2008 and it was truly the most fantastic day of our lives. The venue is stunning and Angela and Lindsay made the whole wedding experience a stress free joy. Many thanks to all at Samlesbury. Janice and Paul Irving.

I've not been here for a very long time, but used to come here with my parents who used to like buying antiques here. It was (and I'm sure still is) very beautiful. Very fond memories.
