This 18th century inn has a great reputation for good food and beer, and enjoys a tranquil countryside setting near Goosnargh (Roast Goosnargh Duckling is the house speciality).

It also offers accommodation in an adjacent converted barn. All 6 rooms are non-smoking and feature an en-suite bathroom, TV, telephone, tea/coffee making facilities, trouser press, and hair dryer.

Don't stay anywhere else if you are in the area. This is a small family run business that really prides itself on quality of service. Great beer and a clean, comfortable, spacious room. This was much more than I expected for the price. I would recommend it very highly.

This is a cracking place to stay. The setting is picturesque and the food and drink is excellent, especially the beer. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are very well appointed. We would recommend it.
