Gisburn Forest
Lying within the Forest of Bowland, Gisburn Forest is the largest forest in Lancashire. Although still very much a working forest, it offers plenty of leisure opportunities for visitors.
Within there is a network of waymarked trails (3 walking and 3 cycling) that offer great opportunities to see the wildlife that lives here.
Gisburn Forest is found to the north of the Forest of Bowland, close to the villages of Slaidburn and Tosside.
The forest is accessible by car and has 2 public car parks.
