Longridge

Longridge is a small town in the Ribble Valley with a population of just under 10,000. It grew in the mid-nineteenth century as stone from its quarries was excavated for use in the surrounding mill towns.

Nowadays it is the home of numerous speciality shops and several fine restaurants and pubs. A former weaving shed now houses the delightfully quaint Palace Cinema.
