THE SHIREBURN ARMS HOTEL

The privately owned hotel, pub and restaurant dates back to the latter half of the 17th century and is situated in the village of Hurst Green in the Ribble Valley.

We stayed here on part of our walking holiday and thoroughly enjoyed it. There is just something magical about old buildings with their oak beams, fine views, and superb cask beers. The room was probably slightly past its best, but we both slept like a log and started the day with a superb full English breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

This was an excellent place to stay and full of character as you'd expect from somewhere from the 17th Century. They still had modern facilities though like Wi-Fi and the food and beautiful view from the restaurant complimented each other perfectly.
