B&Q
The first B&Q store was opened in Southampton in 1969 by Richard Block and David Quayle. Today the company boasts over 300 UK stores and is the country’s biggest retailer of DIY, home improvement and garden products.
Product stocked by B&Q include building materials, doors, hand and power tools, bedroom furniture, kitchens, bathrooms, fridges and freezers, ovens, washing machines, dishwashers, carpets, radiators, flooring, tiles, lighting, fencing, lawnmowers, gardening tools and furniture, sheds, paint, wallpaper, and timber.
