The Odeon cinema enjoys a fantastic location in the Printworks in Manchester city centre. With a whopping 23 screens it offers a massive choice of films to suit all ages and tastes. The cinema originally opened as a UCI Filmworks cinema but was purchased by Odeon in 2005.
Screens accommodate between 65 and 484 cinemagoers. All theatres offer Dolby Digital sound and wheelchair spaces, and many can show 3D films. Screen 1 boasts an IMAX screen measuring 23 metres wide and 29 metres tall. It is the only IMAX cinema in Greater Manchester.
The cinema is open 7 days a week. The cheapest tickets are for showings Monday to Thursday before 5 pm. Discounts are available at all times for students in possession of valid student ID, children, and teenagers (aged 13 -17). Orange customers get 2 tickets for the price of 1 on Wednesdays and Odeon Premier Club cardholders receive a 25% discount on Tuesdays.

Like most cinemas, the Odeon offers its own refreshment counter offering drinks, snacks and confectionery. The Printworks cinema also features the Gallery, a licenced auditorium with larger seats, each with a small table for food and drink, and a separate bar offering alcohol and complimentary snacks and soft drinks. The Gallery is open customers aged 18 and over.

One major drawback of the cinema is the lack of free car parking nearby. The nearest car parks are the multi-storey car parks at Manchester Transport Interchange – Shudehill (777 spaces) and High Street – Arndale (1383 spaces). Both are operated by NCP.
Victoria train station is just 200 yards from the Odeon Printworks. Customers arriving at Piccadilly train station can walk to the cinema in 10 minutes or catch the Metrolink to the Shudehill Interchange, right next to the cinema.
