Balmoral Lodge Hotel

Room OK.
Breakfast meagre. No toast offered and Green Tea served not English Breakfast Tea.
I paid a surcharge for having 2 small dogs and I have no idea what it was for. They were not allowed in the room unless we were there and they certainly did not soil anywhere. My dogs are better behaved than most children so why the surcharge.

We wanted to stay near Lord St and not be too far from the beach and this place seemed like a reasonable choice. We were not disappointed. We even got a garden room with patio doors and the best thing of all was the cost was very reasonable. Parking was easy and they also have free internet access. Would be happy to stay again.

The first time I stayed here it was great and everything went like clockwork. I decided to stay again to get a reality check, but it was just as good. The room was beautiful and immaculately clean and the staff couldn't do enough for you. Well done!
