We have recently came home from a week in Southport.The only thing that was missing was nightly entertainment. We visited a few hotels and pubs on our visit but could find nothing on.I know it was out of season but there were a lot of tourists there and most that we spoke to felt the same. The highlight I must say was a little cafe bar down by the pier called the Marine Lake Cafe. The free entertainment was really good and the atmosphere was amazing. Every person there young and old had a great time, it had a great holiday feeling about it. We will probably be back to Southport as it is a lovely place but I do think you are missing out on holiday entertainment.
