Leave the M6 motorway at junction 26 or 31.

Air
Southport is 43 miles by road from Manchester Airport and 30 miles from Liverpool John Lennon Airport. A regular train service runs from Manchester Airport.
Train
Southport train station [map] is situated on Chapel Street, just off Lord Street. There are frequent trains to Liverpool (every 15 minutes during the week) and regular services to Manchester, Bolton and Wigan.
