Vincent

I had a reservation with The Vincent Hotel at the special £69 per night rate. They called me a few days beforehand and cancelled. Wouldn't give me an explanation. They offered to put me up in The Carlton Hotel, which isn't nearly as nice. An apology is all I was left with. I was not offered an alternative date to stay in The Vincent and they didn't offer to put me in an equally nice hotel. I'm surprised at the poor treatment - I think it says a huge amount about the management at this hotel.

I wanted a nice, quiet, relaxing, romantic weekend away and this place was recommended to me. We could not have been happier and everything went like clockwork. Surprisingly, the cost was also very reasonable and we would go back with pleasure any time.

I didn't expect this level of luxury in Southport to be honest. The hotel is superb and provides you with every conceivable modern convenience and a very high standard of accommodation. The staff were also magnificent and a credit to their trade.

We fancied a bit of a treat staying here, but it wasn't even that expensive. The location was brilliant and the service superb. The room was fantastically well equipped including a massive bed and every conceivable modern convenience. We can't wait to go back.

This is a superb place to stay and because it's quite new you don't have any of the problems you might get in some of the more established hotels. The room was spacious and very well appointed. It had a flat screen TV, internet access and a massive mp3 collection as standard. One of the best places we have ever stayed.
