Norton Priory Museum & Gardens
This important monastic site is situated just outside Runcorn and offers 38 acres of tranquillity. Although the monastery was largely demolished after the dissolution of the monasteries, a museum here houses an extensive collection of artefacts excavated from the site.
Other features at Norton Priory include woodland/sculpture trail and a Georgian walled garden with Rose Walk, herb garden, fruit garden, and herbaceous borders.
