The Rhinewood Country House Hotel

The Rhinewood Hotel was built in the late 18th century as a private residence, but has recently been transformed into a 32 bedroom hotel.

All rooms are en-suite and include satellite TV, direct dial telephone with internet connection, hospitality tray and hairdryer. The hotel’s restaurant, the Sugarfields Bar and Grill offers modern British and Mediterranean cuisine.

The hotel is situated in the Glazebrook, a Cheshire village approximately 7 miles east of Warrington.

Attractions in the area include Tatton Park (9 miles), Gulliver’s World (12 miles), the Trafford Centre (8 miles), Chill Factore (8 miles), and Old Trafford (11 miles).

Not exactly a country house in my book, but it wasn't a country house price either, so no complaints on that one. I thought the room was very acceptable and the staff were very helpful and informative. I would certainly consider a repeat visit.

We found this was an ideal base whilst exploring the area. There were lots of things to see and do just a few miles away and the cost of staying here was very reasonable. Only ate at the hotel once, but it was perfectly acceptable.
