Wigan Attractions
Wigan’s major tourist draw is Wigan Pier, an attraction exploring the town’s industrial heritage. Despite its past, it is also home to a number of country parks such as Haigh and Pennington Flash.
Just outside the town centre the Robin Park development features the JJB Stadium, a cinema, and several leisure facilities. Many attractions on the outskirts of neighbouring towns are also within easy reach (Camelot, Knowsley Safari Park, Middlebrook, Lever Park etc.).
