Park Inn Leigh Hotel

The Park Inn Leigh Hotel opened in October 2008 and is situated in Leigh, near Wigan. Just off the East Lancashire Road it offers easy access to Wigan, Manchester, St Helens, Bolton, and Liverpool.

The purpose built hotel boasts 135 rooms. All are en-suite and feature a TV with satellite channels, wireless internet access, work desk, and beverage tray.

Facilities here include a restaurant, bar, coffee lounge, meeting rooms, onsite car park, fitness room, sauna, and steam room.

The hotel is on the Leigh Sports Village development, the home of Leigh Centurions. Other attractions in the area include Pennington Flash (just across the road) and Haydock Park Racecourse.

Stayed here for one night only. Hotel not been finished yet which is a shame. Has the potential to be a good hotel, but has obviously been rushed. Builders still working on floor 3 causing lots of noise. Paint on various things within room, mirrors a disgrace. Bath had paint and rust all over it. No tea or coffee in room! Considering it's a new hotel it's pretty poor at the moment. Housekeeping staff all foreign and difficult to communicate with. Reception staff friendly enough, restaurant staff not quite as friendly. Food not as good as expected. No pool, gym facilities not yet finished. Sauna and steam room? What sauna and steam room? Nobody seemed to know where they were or even if they had one! Overall 2/5 rating. Will not recommend until fully complete.
