The Vue Cinema Carlisle is a multiplex cinema in Carlisle, Cumbria. It enjoys a great city centre location and offers seven screens.
The largest theatre can accommodate 323 cinemagoers while the smallest can seat 142. All are fitted with Dolby Digital Surround Sound and offer full disabled access. Screens 3 and 7 have 3D capabilities.
Ticket prices are cheapest at off-peak times; Monday to Friday before 5 pm. On Super Tuesday everybody pays the child’s off-peak price (membership required). Customers of comparethemarket.com can sign up to the Meerkat Movies scheme and buy two tickets for the price of one on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
The Vue Cinema is located on Botchergate in Carlisle city centre (postcode CA1 1QS). It is right next to the Woodrow Wilson, a Wetherspoon pub. There are plenty more pubs, bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
Like many city centre cinemas the Vue does not have its own car park (except for a few disabled spaces at the rear of the cinema). One of the closest car parks is Carlisle City Council’s Cecil Street Car Park (postcode CA1 1NX). Parking is free after 6 pm.
